China is getting more and more modern today and there are not a lot of things you need to take care of.

Of course you should’ve settled all your visa arrangements, it has to be valid from the beginning of your stay until the end of your stay. If you are here for a longer time or decide to stay longer, keep in mind to check the expiry date and get an extension if necessary!

Before you come here, you should also consult your doctor concerning vaccinations and such.

Especially in the South of China there is malaria and there’s a general recommendation to have hand sanitizer when you go out because public toilets are not always as clean as you would like them to be.

There’s also the issue of unclean food – I personally have had only one bad experience so far, therefore we recommend to have the necessary medicine at hand.
