A: Signs in Macau were usually in Portuguese, Cantonese, Mandarin and in English. From our experience this order pretty much displays how much each language is spoken in Macau, but don’t worry, you’ll be fine with English.

Q: What currency is used in Macau?
A: Despite the small size of Macau it has its own currency. The Macau Pataca (MOP) is pegged to the Hongkong Dollar, the course is 1HK$=1,03MOP.

Where to find a CHEAP Hotel?
A: In a city that is mainly dominated by gambling it isn’t hard to find a hotel if the price doesn’t matter, but finding a cheap one might be a little harder. As we just spent one night in Macau, we can’t present a huge variety of hotels but we can tell you that there are cheap options around the “Praca de Ponte e Horta”
